Last week I bit the bullet and bought a Samsung G9 ultrawide 49inc screen 5120x1440 Resolution, Curved 1000R, HDR, VA Panel Technology: 1MS Response Time, 240Hz Refresh Rate, Nvidia® G-Sync® Compatible...... I'm very please with it and it's almost but not just quite as good as flying in VR. Games mode is where this monitor really shines, crisp graphics and very fast response times... games and MSFS run like melting butter..... OK they are not cheap but I think well worth the investment..... when you hit 65 years old it has to be marked as a milestone and a self treat should reflect that achievement lol.......
