selection screen (opening fsx) to small to read

Hello,

Since i installed fsx (boxed version) on a

HP ENVY - 15-as100nb, with windows 10 64 bit (4k screen). I got a strang home screen when starting up fsx. see picture in attachment. How to solve this issue? Kind regards, Rob

This is a normal screen when you choose 'End Flight', for example, to go change settings or to activate scenery. Did you try clicking on 'Free Flight', picking the C-172, at your fav airport, set time and season, then Click 'Make Default', then 'Fly Now'. The next time you start FSX that flight is what will be loaded and not the window you show in pic.

Just to be sure.....This is the opening screen and not the "Splash" screen that pops up when you click the FSX.exe ICON? In your settings you should be able to put a check mark in the box for "Show Opening Screen" and that should be for the Free Flight Screen.

 

I'll do a quick search to see why your screen is so small.

 

Make sure in your Settings/Customize/Graphics that your FSX resolution matches your Windows resolution.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️
