mickleham
Hi guys apologies if this is in the wrong section. only new to this forum I am running a Saitek yoke, throttle and rudder pedals and the all work perfectly fine in fsx. yesterday I brought the multi panel, radio panel and switch panel and cannot get any of the 3 to work in fsx. they all work perfectly on the Saitek test page but not in fsx, I get nothing. I am running all 3 USB in the back of the yoke with power so it shouldn't be a problem. Has anyone got any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks for any help that I can get from you guys. I'm just at a lost
Mark Hurst
Have you installed the driver program? The yoke and throttle and pedals don't need it but the panels do. The installation should have inserted an entry into exe.xml that runs the driver automatically with FSX but you can try running the program manually from the desktop shortcut or Start menu. GridNorth
I experienced loads of problems which were quickly resolved by installing SPAD (Saitek Panels Advanced Driver) Saitek were not really much help at all. You can get SPAD.Next which you pay for but get some useful tools. A free version which I'm currently using is available here: http://fstools.weebly.com/ Highly recommended. Daniel.T
I agree with Al 100%. The Saitek software is more trouble than usefull. I have the same package you have; Yoke/rudder and radio-nav/multi/switch panels from Saitek. SPAD work perfectly in FS2004 and FSX. Just don't forget to uninstall the Saitek soft before you install SPAD. ponchovilla
Yep - SPAD is the ticket. I run both FS9 and FSX and SPAD gets the Saitek panels to work with both, no trouble. I run the Saitek driver, no trouble. But if it's not running, it won't work. MarkH
