azzaro
Hey look! That plane is landing on the runway we just left from!... Maybe next time I should check the wind sock first. :o — Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10

NMLW
Or, you could blame ATC for sending you to the wrong end of the runway. :) Larry
azzaro
Or, you could blame ATC for sending you to the wrong end of the runway. :) I could. But that's hard to do being as I never spoke to them. :o I mean, really, what are the odds? — Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10
PhantomTweak
I mean, really, what are the odds? As far as I can tell, the odds are approximately 50-50 that you get the correct end to take off from. I may well be wrong though. Not too many runways have 3 ends, after all. At least that I know of. I think that would require a runway to have 1 end in another dimension. Now, I have a head-ache. I need more coffee. I don't do stats the way I did in school... Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Just as I was about to touch down, a flight coming at me from the opposite end was taking off. I had Tower's permission to land. omega7
Investigation is on the way Bob, If you followed the proper procedures for the take off, then thank your conscience that you are still alive :( Gonzalo [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
