ninjary
Running Windows 10 on i7 CPU 960@3.20GHZ with 12 GB memory a NVIDIA GeForce 560Ti 2GB GDDR5. Just in the last two weeks I have an issue when loading any of the models from the IRIS A-10 software. When I pick any one of the models when the aircraft loads into the FSX aircraft window all I get is part of the aircraft(i.e. part of the nose, part of the wing etc). When it first happened I removed and reinstalled the software. Still have the same issue. I checked the texture folder for the different aircraft to see if the thumbnail.jpg was present in the folder. All texture folders had a thumbnail and when reviewed they all had the complete picture. Thanks for any help to fix.
mrzippy
Is DX10 checked in your FSX/Settings/Customize/Graphics? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
ninjary
Mr Zippy Thanks for your reply, the funny thing is when I go to FSX/Settings/Customize/Graphics there is no box for DX10. I'm using MS FSX Gold Edition which since I started to use Windows 10 I've had to re-load 3 times because FSX stopped running. At one point I do remember seeing the DX10 check box.
