BetterCallPaul_
Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the FSX scene and got my first add-on through the Memorial Day sale which was the REX 4 Texture Direct pack. I think the clouds look better, but I'm seriously questioning the improvements to the general runway/taxiways - they still look pretty naff. Is this a problem on my end with graphics card or should I go for an all out airport graphics update? Graphics Card : NVIDEA GE Force GT730 Thanks :D
ScatterbrainKid
It's hard to tell with screenshots, but the yellow lines in the bottom pic definitely look like runny egg yolk.
longbreak754
Hi, Take a look at this product - http://www.zinertek.com/flightsimulator/hdairportgraphics.html. IMO its great value for the price and really does improve the look of runways, taxiways etc as well as the default Airport buildings. Most of the sites where you can buy - linked on the info page - have a number of reviews. Regards Brian

f16jockey_2
It's either the screenie or me needing stronger glasses, but is Anti-Aliasing checked ? Wim
f16jockey_2
Hi, Take a look at this product - http://www.zinertek.com/flightsimulator/hdairportgraphics.html. I have both REX4 and Zinertek running. For the runway/taxiway markings I still prefer REX, I use Zinertek just for the vehicles and buildings. Wim
Rupert
It's hard to tell with screenshots, but the yellow lines in the bottom pic definitely look like runny egg yolk. They look to me like virtual taxi prompts. Not by any means as nice as what I'm used to seeing, but I believe that's what they are. Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. Rupert
Sorted it :D Switched on Anti-Aliasing and checked Anistropic. World of difference! GREAT! Sometimes spending a little time fooling with settings is the best answer. No two computers or installations are truly the same. ;) Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
