azzaro
Hei min gode venn. Thanks for suggesting Lofoten as a must-see Norwegian destination. I made a short flight beginning and ending in Skagen just to give you a taste of the beautiful Orbx scenery. Of course, it hardly does the real place justice, but as flight sim scenery goes - it's pretty nice! The area is quite large. This flight only covers perhaps 15% of it. It was so stunning in fact, I forgot to retract the gear until about half way through. I did remember to extend it before landing! Thus avoiding the traditional Peerhoven water landing. There are things I won't do, even for a good friend. Vennligst ikke dor min nese. — Bob more in reply... LeFrog73
Hello Azzaro, very nice Pictures! I have the Orbx scenery, too. A fine peace of work. Hope to see more of them. Regards from EDHK, Marco
KCD
Nice shots, Bob, although wasted for sure. If you wanted to impress H.R.M.vP., you would have had to fly the route in a DC4 and land it in the fjiord!
azzaro
Thanks Klee, but I don't have a DC-4 on floats?.. Wait a minute! — I get it... :o Somebody's jonesing for a nose-punch. Another strange addiction we all share. — Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10
Rupert
I know what you mean about flying those retracting gear planes! Just two more procedures to think about! If it weren't for the warning buzzers I'd probably never remember. Beautiful shots! I'll probably end up having to buy even more ORBX scenery!! Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
