scottb613 Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Hi Folks, Gigabyte GA-77X Well - this morning I was treated to the BIOS load screen that freezes - none of the keys to enter the bios settings, boot selection, or Q-Flash - work... Just - FROZEN - and beeps now and then... No previous indications of a problem... Is there anything I can try to restore or do you think it's toast ??? Appreciate any input... scottb613 Posted February 8, 2016 Author Share Posted February 8, 2016 Hi Folks, Just a follow up - strangest thing - I left the PC powered off for most of the day - turned it back on last evening - this time it booted normally - no error messages or anything... I had completely powered off and booted like 20 times while working on it in the morning... Something holding a charge for the minute or so I had it powered off ? Interesting comment on the controllers - I have been having a problem with my CH products where the system doesn't recognize them many times when booted - then I have to either unplug the device and plug it in - or - completely power off and restart the PC to restore service...
