HillBillyJim
Hey gang: Haven't posted in a while but I'm back! I just was informed that REX4 Texture Direct is 50% off. I have Soft Clouds, so I know how nice of a job they do, however, I am worried of the FPS hit. My sister is modest: Intel quad core 3.1 ghz processor with the included graphics card (not sure exact specs on that). I would be running mostly Majestic's Dash Q400 and QW's birds. So, I ask to you: what's the FPS hit with REX4? Thanks! HBJ http://vnorthwest.com/lib/signatures/NWA3004.png Great VA! W2DR
I don't have Soft Clouds so I can't speak to the FPS issue but it's certainly good to hear that your sister is not immodest :-). Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.0 Ghz, Asus Maxumus XII Hero MB, Noctua NH-U12A Cooler, Corsair Vengence Pro 32GB 3200Mhz, Geforce RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, and other good stuff. Doug I'm always hoping Hester will win just one more A! Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
timest
Hi, Texture Direct allows you to control the resolution of the textures as well as the compression schema. So it is really up to you how far you want to push it.
