MD83 rotating beacons.

I have a great idea! go to here: http://simviation.com//fsnd/Downloads.htm

Scroll down the page and get the MD-83. It works perfectly and has several liveries.

Just in case you want to see the reason you have no rotating red beacons on the "non-flying" MD-83, this is the lights section of the aircraft.cfg:

[LIGHTS]

//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing

light.0 = 3, -96.00, 53.70, -0.60, fx_navgrem ,

light.1 = 3, -96.00, -53.70, -0.60, fx_navredm ,

light.2 = 2, -96.50, -54.20, -0.60, fx_strobeh ,

light.3 = 2, -96.50, 54.20, -0.60, fx_strobeh ,

light.4 = 4, -12.00, 0.00, 4.50, fx_vclighth ,

No light is labeled type 1, which is the beacon light.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

Is there a way to correct the ac config? I have tried several lights from similar aircraft but they never match up. I have md-83 you mentioned but I like the default better.

When I have time, maybe tomorrow, I will add a panel to the default MD-83 and see if I can position a top beacon light.

UPDATE I have added a flashing red beacon to the top of the aircraft. Those are ugly MD-83's! Keep in mind that there is no beacon light assy.(physically) on the aircraft, but there is a flashing beacon.
