flaps-operations effect on pitch/vertical behavior.

The flap extraction/retraction has a too-big of effect on the aircraft's pitch and vertical speed. I operate flaps at proper speeds as indicated on NDs (talking 757Pro and 748i), I assume the plane shouldn't go from -700 to +300 with a notch of flap extraction.

Is there is a way to lower/dampen this effect via some settings within X-Plane but can't find it there? Please advise.

Besides that, generally, it's much more difficult to control the aircraft in X-P than in FSX, sometimes it pitches too much up and down and it is hard to get it back to where it should be.

I don't have X-P installed but if you can find where the 'extension time' is, you might try to increase the time. Might be 5.000 (seconds). Increase to 20.000 and try it. The pitch is momentary so the longer time 'mitigates' the 'effect'.

The other tweak (for Flt Sim air files) is to make the 'flaps pitch'= -0.030000' (ie: negative value-where 'default' is positive).

You can use PlaneMaker to adjust most of the parameters. See pic below with one window that gives you access, there are many others, Be prepared to do it again with the next release / version.

Try this:

PlaneMaker>Standard>Control geometry>Controls.
