shanwick
looking for specific aircraft as freeware- anyone got what I'm looking for? Want detailed cockpits and good sound especially This is a very subjective matter as what one person considers good another may disagree. But as you only want to consider freeware then why not download and install some and see how you get on with them? It doesn't take very long - and nothing ventured, nothing gained!! PhantomTweak
For the Blackhawk, check on Hovercontrol and look for anything by Jordan Moore. One of the best helicopter designers around. Especially for the freeware stuff. They also have different panels available for the helicopters too. Just a thought. Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! drake4896
When looking for the aircraft here at FlightSim, you ought to use the Advanced Search Engine. Enter the Aircraft you need and SORT by "Downloads" and you can find the most POPULAR. Then do another search and SORT by file "Size", this one will usually be the most detailed (not always however). Install them both and you pick the best of the two. Regards, Drake
