Setting Fuel Tank Level

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have XML coding etc to set the fuel level in a specific fuel tank? I know how to set the overall fuel quantity but I want to be able to select a specific tank and set the fuel in that tank (percent, lbs or gallons).

For example 65535 (>K:ADD_FUEL_QUANTITY) Fills all tanks specified in the aircraft.cfg file, but I cannot find Event IDs or Sim Variables to allow selection of any tank and to set the fuel level.

As far as I know there is no method to add fuel to a specific tank via XML scripting. I believe that it is possible though using XMLTOOLS 2.0 available from

Why not just go to Aircraft/Fuel and Payload and select the level you want in the tank you want from the listing of what's available...?

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Well, that wouldn't be "automated" then would it? :)
