adamb
The DC-6B was powered by 2,500 hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800-CB17 Double Wasp engines. Myself and some of the other older fellas here can remember that sound, along with all the other great aircraft of the 40, 50 and 60's. adamb
Gonzalo, Peter, Jan, Bill, Aharon, Joe, Larry and Paul, thank you very much. :) Jan, nice sound indeed. :D Bill the plane is on the expansion pack for the DC-6. Paul I have an idea, we'll just grab the old Peerhoover by the ankles and run him around the runway. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

jeh
Paul I have an idea, we'll just grab the old Peerhoover by the ankles and run him around the runway. :D I'm not sure how much he's going to like that. Also we will then have to clean up the inevitable burning wreck of Jan's arrival. :) Cheese War Enthusiast.
adamb
Thank you John. :) Anytime Bill. :) Paul, all we have to do is give Jan some cheese and beer and he'll have the runway looking like it was just paved. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
