SAM Hunter
Do you know where I can get a driveable airstair vehicle for FSX? If you do, would you tell me where to get it? Can you provide a link? Respectfully: David :pilot: ... TerryHanley
Don't know where to get a driveable file but in my airline days I used to hook up to 747 fraighters 5 or 6 times a 10 hr shift I would leave the passanger side door open for a fast get away in case the plane over shot the gate because the Engine was still running and was less then 20 feet away outside the window. I happen to be hooking up to the fraghter when the earthquake of 1989 hit SFO im 5 foot away from the cockpit door wich is about 35 feetup I haven't set the stabilsers down yet the stairs are extended the Engins are still running the ground is shaking the plane is rocking nose to tail and wing tip to wing tip I had to ride it out. I found the kill switch really quick

SAM Hunter
zswobbie: Thanks for the flysimware page sadly no Airstairs but I did find a good tractor I could use for a future film... I'll look if FSX has a Airstair to make driveable but I don't remember ever seeing one in the Misc vehicle folder... Anyone else has a suggestion? Respectfully: David :pilot: ... mrzippy
David, I did, at one time, see something about drivable airstairs and I thought to myself why would someone want to drive around it that! I've tried several Google searches with no luck, so far. Will keep looking! Maybe Chuck (Napamule2) will know something about this?? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Charlie: Thanks for looking, it is true most members would not drive one around, but I have a project with a C-32 and this aircraft normally does not pull to a gate, hence I need a stair truck to make the video look good... SAM Hunter
Darn, I also remember seeing one somewhere.. I'll try remember.. Also, anyone out there with unusual & interesting addons to drive/fly? Sorry to hijack! No, it's what we need to talk about many of the members who produce videos need the extra vehicles and add-ons to make them more realistic, here are four that I have produced that have extra vehicles in them not as AI craft but as drivable fully controlled vehicles so you get what you want with-in the video production. Walter's Farm In this video all the birds, earth mover, land rover, and heavy truck are drivable/pilotable all combined to make into one film. All vehicles are downloadable here at flight with the exception of the birds they are from Earth Simulations. USMC Sikorsky MH-53J PaveLow III The aircraft carrier and support ships are not AI vehicles but pilot able vehicles within fsrecorder so you would have exactly where you need them to be as your aircraft approaches the carrier fleet.. The carrier and destroyers are available here at FlightSim... Alpha Simulations T-50 Retrofit (FSX) The large fishing boat is a pilot able vehicle, along with the small speedboat both available here at FlightSim Aussie Icon The seagull is a aircraft, it is available at Earth Simulations Life In this video all vehicles are drivable the BMW, Jeep, Motor home and Ambulance are all available here at FlightSim So you see weird different vehicles are needed, especially for those who like to add more realism to their video productions. a Airstair truck is required for a future production. If you have done any kind of production using anything other than a fixed wing or rotorwing aircraft lets hear about it...
