I just bought the Maule M7-235 by Pilot Experience Sim for MSFS. Here are my first impressions: The exterior model looks very good. The control surfaces and their controls all work and look realistic. The only thing that bothers me is the tail wheel. When you turn in, the angle of the wheel doesn't match the way you are taxiing. The cockpit is perfect. All buttons and switches work, even the circuit breakers. It has great details, for example boxes as cargo on the back seats. These can be hidden with the interactive checklist. With the interactive checklist you can also select the instrument panel. When I changed the instruments, I couldn't turn on the new one. I don't know why. Overall, the Maule is a good addon. I like to fly this plane. The 25$ was definitely worth it.

Development istaking place in VR environment as well and the excitement levels are"Super-Rocketing" here at the 'labs! /images/notams/notams21/vsky1208/maule2.jpgBased on the Maule M-4, it is a high-wing, strut-braced monoplaneof conventional configuration, available with tailwheel or optionaltricycle wheeled undercarriage and frequently used as a floatplanewith twin floats. The basic M-7 has a longer cabin than itspredecessors the M5 & M6, with two seats in front, a bench seat for upto three passengers behind them, and (like the M-6) an optional thirdrow of "kiddie seats" at the rear. /images/notams/notams21/vsky1117.jpgThe VSKYLABS Maule M-7-235B Project for X-Plane by Laminar Research(Work-In-Progress): As noted before, the VSKYLABS M-7-235B project is being developedwith TWO optional panels: CLASSIC (fully analog panel) andGLASS-COCKPIT (two modified G1000 display bundle to allow a plausible, advanced glass-cockpit solution based on X-Plane's built-inavionics). The glass-cockpit panel features several peripheral analoggauges. The configuration for these is not locked yet. Attaching ascreen shot with a glimpse into the evolving GLASS-COCKPIT panel. Due to the high versatility of the Maule aircraft, developmentroad-map includes additional M-7-235B variants for water-operations(floats) and the M-7-235C variant for extreme bush-plane operations(equipped with Tundra tires and sprung aluminum main landinggears). More on this will be posted in the very near future. The VSKYLABS Maule-M-7-235B Project is currently one of the leadingdevelopment efforts here at VSKYLABS, and version v1.0 release windowis scheduled for December 2021. Stay tuned for more exciting news! Source
