/images/notams/notams19/dino0426/dino-1.jpgToday is Italy's Liberation Day (Festa della Liberazione), anational Italian holiday commemorating the end of the fascist regimeand the nazi occupation of the World War II and the victory of theResistance. I thought it was a good occasion to post the first screen shot ofthe M-345 demonstrator in the Frecce Tricolori livery for X-Plane11. The M-311/M-345 will be included in the package as a variant ofthe external visual model only (meaning it will still sport the analogcockpit, while in the real world these have a glass cockpit withmodern MFDs and HUDs). I am not ruling out the possibility to add thedigital cockpit in future...but for the moment it is notconfirmed. Source /images/notams/notams19/dino0426/dino-2.jpgFollowing your positive feedback on the S-211 project for X-Plane11, I have made some progress with it and some of its currentshortcomings have been addressed. There is still some more work to bedone to create a Beta version, but maybe it will be ready in amonth. The intent would be to create a "budget" payware offering, whichwill, most likely, include only the S-211 (no M-345). When the Betawill be ready, I will make the usual post here and on my blog on howto apply. Speaking of XP-11, I have indeed thought of other projects thatcould be ported in future - however, it is unlikely that I'll port theF-35 or the Typhoon: their avionics are really complex and wouldrequire an huge amount of work. Aside, preliminary tests of theTyphoon do not look that good. On the other hand, the TA-4J has been built from the beginning tomake a potential port to XP-11 much easier...so most likely it will bemy next XP-11 project. Then, speaking of the TA-4J - it is proceeding as per the schedule, that means that the 3D modeling will be most likely completed by theend of this month. Source
