/images/notams/notams20/simc1202.jpgIn a rather cryptic Facebook post, developer SimCoders.com (inconjunction with JRollon) have shared a single image of their nextproject, the SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Both developers are known for their X-Plane 11 add-ons, so this isquite a departure for them. They have previously created this same plane for X-Plane 11. Theystate it's too soon to say if a discount will be offered for X-Planecustomers or whether the flight model with be customized or based onthe MSFS model. No release date is yet available. The SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 is an Italian light aircraft which hasbeen commonly marketed as a military trainer and aerobaticsaircraft. The SF.260 was designed by Italian aircraft designer StelioFrati, while production work originally performed by Milan-basedaviation manufacturer Aviamilano. Source

Its nickname is 'Ferrari of the skies' for its slickappearance and its high cruise speed. JRollon Planes and SimCoders.com have joined their forces to bringthis little marvel to you. The REP expansion pack from Simcoders isalready included in the SF-260! Now you can fly the SF.260 in X-Plane and enjoy this little butpowerful airplane! We put our hearts and souls to build this littlemachine and we are sure you are going to enjoy it so much. Beforeflying it, we really recommend reading the User Manuals "Systems" and"Flight characteristics" chapters. /images/notams/notams18/siai1116/sf260-2.jpgFeaturesCode driven flight dynamicsSuper fun to fly, requires your attention all the timeRealistic takeoff, landing, cruise, and overall performanceRealistic aerobaticsRealistic stall behavior (watch your ailerons!)Impressive spin behaviorRealistic roll speed at both high and low speedsOutstanding 3D Model And LiveriesVery light on FPSHigh performance 4K texture10 Liveries includedBlank textures with PSD available to create your own liveryTire blowout is shownPropeller blades bend on belly landing3D modeled engine componentsCustom rain and ice effects /images/notams/notams18/siai1116/sf260-3.jpgRealistic Onboard Systems And ProceduresPre/Post flight walk-aroundCustom hand towing mode: use your joystick to push/pull/steer the aircraft on groundRealistic Mass and BalanceComplete electrical system with working Circuit BreakersCustom landing gear warning systemCustom stall warning systemCustom vacuum systemCustom flaps system with realistic white-arc behaviorCustom fuel systemCustom cabin ventilation and windshield defrost systemWorking Emergency Avionics switch with Emergency BatteryWorking emergency landing gear extraction procedureCanopy can stay slightly open during flightCustom Damage & Maintenance SystemAny system can be damaged if used the wrong wayPersistent aircraft state: each livery has its own state that is saved between flights.
