Hi all, newcomer here from KCLE. Bought and downloaded MSFS 2020 the other day and started to put it through its paces. Found out there was no built-in profile for my MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick but could manually assign the buttons its axis controls. The problem, however, is that the in-game response to my joystick maneuvering is overwhelmingly exaggerated and by no means realistic in the least. I've tried toying around with the sensitivity and reactivity settings, all to no avail. This is sadly making the game unplayable for me, unless I pony up for a new joystick (been eyeing Thrustmaster T16000M), but I don't even know if that will work either? Anybody else running into similar issues? Particularly with the FFB2 joystick?

I have CH pedals. No matter how I adjust the rudder sensitivity, the rudder goes from no deflection to full deflection suddenly as I press a pedal. No intermediate values. Makes it really hard to take off and land without veering all over the runway. Interestingly, when on the sensitivity page, the slider does move proportionately to the amount of pedal pressure, but once in the airplane, it's either nothing or hard over. Seems to affect all aircraft. Any ideas? Thanks, J. Slagg

I have the DVD version of MSFS in the UK and performed the mandatory patch 1.8.3.0 this afternoon. The download was flawless on my 50 mbps connection and took about 45 minutes. No question performance has improved. Frame rate is a bit better, especially over a major airport like LHR, but the really big plus is that the horrible stutters when the sim loads new scenery have disappeared. Biggest downer so far is that, as others have reported, it’s no longer possible to adjust controller sensitivity. However, I seem to have been lucky in one respect. The sim has preserved my previous sensitivity settings so my planes are perfectly flyable for the time being. I note that MS now have the sensitivity problem on their list of Known Issues. (CPU Intel 17-9700F, 32 Gbs RAM, Nvidia 2080ti, 27-inch monitor 1440.)

Hello, so I was flying in the TDS 737-800 and on approach it was taking forever for the speed to change, Is there any way to increase autopilot throttle sensitivity to increase? I looked to see if I could find anything in the cfg file and tried increasing the "max_throttle_rate" under [autopilot] but it didn't seem to help. If somebody could help that would be amazing. :)
