Hello everyone! So my FSX kept crashing after like 30 minutes of flight or less so i tried looking for solutions... So i have done a lot of reasearch and i have found some solutions after having searched and searched and searched a LOT of forums, I came across these ones: 1: Try emptying your temp folders before openning the game. 2:So i have finally figured out that FSX is a 32 bit program so becuse i have a 64 bit i think that is where my problem came from...So basically what i did is go online, download the Uiautomationcore.dll in 32bit and then i copied and pasted the new uiautoamtioncore in the main fsx folder to replace the one there and then i did the same (copy and paste) in the appdata/roaming/microsoft/FSX folder and replaced the file there as well, Now i have no more crashes at all! I hope this will help you out if your game is crashing. Greetings, Black Goku

Hey all, I have been looking for a free alternative to Firefighter x. Money has been tight lately so I can't afford any addons. So far I have found FsActiveFires but the url's have changed in the source code. downloaded the source code and fixed the link but Visual Studio won't compile it. Even had a more experienced programmer buddy help me out on it but he ran into the same issues. Anyone know of a good alternative for FSX Steam Edition? Happy Trails, Ryan

Hello everyone, I recently downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator from Steam and downloaded it fully, but I am having a bit of a problem getting into the game. Here's what happens. - I double click on my game and it loads the steam setup window aswell as the SimConnect and other things windows, and I click accept both times when required. - Then the Splash Screen appears from FSX with the logo and a background and stays for about 20 seconds before I get a windows error, "Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working," and I am unable to troubleshoot or wait for the program to find a fix. - I've been searching on the internet for a few days and haven't found a similar problem that was able to fix my game, I have tried compatibility mode, firewall, a new fsx.cfg, and verifying game files. Nothing seems to work, so I thought I'd try to find a solution on here. Below is my Error Report from the Event Viewer. Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.62615.0, time stamp: 0x559f9a9a Faulting module name: ui.dll, version: 10.0.62615.0, time stamp: 0x559f9ab4 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000484fb Faulting process id: 0x2a28 Faulting application start time: 0x01d2aaf5ffc6ed35 Faulting application path: C:\Users\coope\Desktop\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\Users\coope\Desktop\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\ui.dll Report Id: 542724ff-7c25-45c8-aeef-a52cfd042424 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Thanks if you can help, I appreciate it, and one last thing, if anyone needs a file or anything similar, please do tell me how to get it, I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to that, sorry. - Bat
