/images/notams/notams20/heav0618/heav0618.jpgThe Pucara (Quechuan for "fortress") is an Argentinian groundattack and counter insurgency aircraft. A very capable and formidableaircraft it saw action in the Falklands war and the Sri-lankan civilwar. By the time of the Falklands War, about 60 Pucaras had beendelivered as it was built primarily to fly from shorter less thanperfect airstrips it was decided that a small number of Pucaras shouldbe sent to the Falklands. Most of the other Pucaras were stationed inArgentina as close to the Falklands as possible. Unfortunately in thebattle for air supremacy the Pucara was outclassed by the Harrier. ThePucara however still continues to serve albeit in various upgradedforms. /images/notams/notams20/heav0618/pucara-1.jpgThe Ctrl-ezy Pucara comes with a good selection of liveries and aloadout system allowing you to personalise your weapons loadout in anumber of different ways. /images/notams/notams20/heav0618/pucara-2.jpgFeaturesExterior accurately modelled in high fidelity with an enormous amount of authentic detailAn "on the fly" loadout system that allows you to change loadouts without having to reload the simulatorHighly realistic, animated pilot and co-pilotAuthentic stereo sound packTen authentic liveries including the Torpedero with the MK13 Torpedo"PBR Workflow" texturing inside and out, as used in many of today's successful computer games (converted for FSX)A multi-simulator paint kit is provided to create your own liveries and paint schemes /images/notams/notams20/heav0618/pucara-3.jpgSource

/images/notams/notams20/heav0318/aeroplane-heaven-01.jpgWe thought you'd like to see some behind the scenes forControl-Ezy. Pucara wise she's in the paintshed. The more observantamong you will see that the control surfaces are split away from themain airframe. This allows for us to texture and bump the rivets inthe hinge areas more easily. /images/notams/notams20/heav0318/aeroplane-heaven-04.jpgTo answer a question we've been asked, the next one in theControl-Ezy hangar is also underway. Again early days but we tend tostart with the left half and detail then mirror and then add theasymmetrical details. In this case we're adding some weighting (hardedges or soft edges basically) to the areas that need it. /images/notams/notams20/heav0318/aeroplane-heaven-03.jpg /images/notams/notams20/heav0318/aeroplane-heaven-02.jpgIf you know what the new aeroplane is keep it under your hat!
