/images/notams/notams22/simc0302.jpgReality Expansion Pack v4.6.0 released. This is a major update thatimproves all the REP packages. Experimental Flight Model support for all REPs. In v4.6.0 wemainly focused on flight dynamics. This includes support for theExperimental Flight Model (EFM) and the incoming X-Plane 12. The Reality Expansion Pack for X-Plane 11 and 10 is an add-on thatreplaces some internal parts of the sim with custom ones, greatlyenhancing the realism. It replaces and enhances the flight and ground dynamics, thedefault piston engine, the electrical system, the landing gear andmany other aspects of the airplane, adding things such real worldphysics, new stereo sounds and extra 3D elements. REP also provides a damages system, a maintenance hangar and theinteractive ground checks. You learn how to use it and become a better pilot thanks to thein-flight tips: a simple and not invasive way to let you know whenyou're doing something wrong to the airplane and how to fix theproblem. /images/notams/notams20/simc1202.jpgIn a rather cryptic Facebook post, developer SimCoders.com (inconjunction with JRollon) have shared a single image of their nextproject, the SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Both developers are known for their X-Plane 11 add-ons, so this isquite a departure for them. They have previously created this same plane for X-Plane 11. Theystate it's too soon to say if a discount will be offered for X-Planecustomers or whether the flight model with be customized or based onthe MSFS model. No release date is yet available. The SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 is an Italian light aircraft which hasbeen commonly marketed as a military trainer and aerobaticsaircraft. The SF.260 was designed by Italian aircraft designer StelioFrati, while production work originally performed by Milan-basedaviation manufacturer Aviamilano. Source
