Milan Malpensa Airport (IATA: MXP, ICAO: LIMC) is the largestinternational airport in northern Italy, serving Lombardy, Piedmont,and Liguria, as well as the Swiss Canton of Ticino. The airport is 49kilometers (30 mi) northwest of Milan, next to the Ticino Riverdividing Lombardy and Piedmont. In 2019, Malpensa Airport handled 28,846,299 passengers and was the20th busiest airport in Europe in terms of passengers and 2nd busiestairport in Italy in terms of passengers. Until 2008, Malpensa Airportwas a major hub for flag carrier Alitalia. Malpensa Airport remainsthe second-busiest Italian airport for international passenger traffic(after Rome Fiumicino Airport), and the busiest for freight and cargo,handling over 500,000 tons of international freight annually. The airport was opened in 1909 by Giovanni Agusta and GianniCaproni to test their aircraft prototypes, before switching to civiloperation in 1948. I will not give a release date oranything as sometimes things happen that can hold up releases. Sam gates have all been successfully placed and all the surroundingarea hangars and building have been placed we are not in a positionwhere we can look into other objects like taxi signs and cars andanimation etc. I am pleased to say thanks to Matthias at maps2xplanewe will be providing a patch for Ortho4xp.
