/images/notams/notams22/ffx1112.jpgOfficial Statement From FlightFXNew release date appears to be November 29, 2022 With the US holiday of Thanksgiving going on midweek and theflighting of a new sim update coming out, MS contacted us aboutgetting in our Launch Candidate earlier than expected so it could gothrough it's typical testing. Unfortunately, after a few late nightsand best efforts with the team to hit the target we just weren't quitecomfortable where we were at. Although remaining unfinished items aresmall and inconsequential to most that's not what this is really aboutis it? We hold ourselves to a high standard and try and do what we canwithin reason to hit those standards. So rather than skip some stuffjust to meet a deadline we are moving to the next available slot whichis Tuesday November 29, 2022. (Due to the US holiday) Our goal is andalways has been to release an aircraft that is fun and addictive tofly. By all standards our beta testers have indicated that we arehitting that mark and we look forward to getting in your handsasap. My hope is that all of you will still get the same enjoyment whenyou get it that we had making it..... just seven days later. /images/notams/notams21/flfx1008/flfx1008.jpgFlightFX and VolcTech Announce Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet Project forMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2020. Dateline: Chicago, IL, 10/5/21: The FlightFX/Volctech team are hardat work bringing this unique aircraft to the MSFS 2020 sim community. No official timeline has been set for release. However, additionaldetails and features sets are expected to be announced soon. Coming on the heels of their successful KPWK release(Available at the FlightSim.Com Store),the team is collaborating with developer VolcTech on their latestventure. "We want to provide as much of an authentic experience to ouraudience as possible. We know that the community enjoys not onlyrealism, but when developers go the extra mile and add those specialtouches. Things like functioning doors, buttons, cabinconfigurations, peripherals, custom audio and a unique UX. The mostwell received contributions to the market are often marked with extrafeatures not typically expected with add-on content" says FFX ManagingPartner Nick Sdoucos. /images/notams/notams21/flfx1008/flightfx-1.jpg /images/notams/notams21/flfx1008/flightfx-2.jpgThe team has been in contact with Working Title regarding theirfreeware mod to the G3000 to maximize the G3000 Perspective Touchsystem when/where appropriate. "The SF50, like other aircraftutilizing the G3000 platform, makes use of multiple custom pages andfeatures within the system itself. It is our goal to carry over asmany of these features to the sim community that are reasonablypossible. With the MSFS platform team's planned updates for the G3000in the future, as announced in the most recent Developer Q&A session,it's our goal to make as much of that functionality available to ourcustomers, while still being compatible with later versions that comeonline." says Sdoucos. /images/notams/notams21/flfx1008/flightfx-3.jpg /images/notams/notams21/flfx1008/flightfx-4.jpgThe team is scheduled to be in the hangar with the SF50 V2 onOctober 12 and 14 at DuPage Airport outside of Chicago. At that timethey will be capturing audio and working through the aircraft's varioussystems and behaviors with the goal of translating these resourcesinto a well-received launch.
