sanji99
I have an earlier MS Flight Simulator software with a Sidewinder Precision PRO. What do I need to do to fly the simulator on a 32-bit Win-7 Pro (SP1) . Where can I get a workable driver for the Sidewinder. I am new to this Forum and have just started to get back into the flight simulation after many years. Thanks for any advice.
CTarana45
I installed Fs98 on my Toshiba Laptop using the CD for Fs98! Make sure you select the complete option when installing it! That copy's all the files and you don't need the CD. I have Windows 7 Premium Edition 32 bit for my OS! :pilot: I am running two copies of the software! The Original Version, and one for Bill Lyon's Golden Wing Add on for Fs98! Christopher Tarana
il88pp
drivers for old joystick port devices do not and will not work on Win7 On Win7 you will need a usb joystick. The old joystick ports only work in older Windows operating systems. (and perhaps Unix/linux/freeBSD, dunno.). Converters exist, but don't buy. Those can at most make it work as a basic 4-direction and 2-button device. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
