asos
I have installed A.F. Scrub's b24liberator.zip but it won't roll forward after the engines are started and brakes are off. Any help please....
CTarana45
I'm using the AlphaSim version! :pilot: I'll install the one you are flying! Christopher Tarana It flies! It got off from KLAX at 146 KIAS! On some aircraft reducing the fuel load is needed! Christopher Tarana Edited March 25, 2021 by CTarana45

BobSeaman
Sometimes it comes down to leaning out the engines and setting the right pitch for the props. :pilot: Usually, your "default" settings for piston engines involves max mixture and min prop pitch, but not always. It also matters where you want to take off from. If your field is at a 5,000 foot elevation it can make a big difference. Christopher also makes a great point about the fuel load, at the end of the day its all about what Mr. Scrub was trying to model in his dynamics. When in doubt, read those README docs again. asos
Reducing the fuel in all tanks fixed the problem.Once airborne,I increased the fuel again...
ViperPilot2
For your Fuel Quantity, figure roughly 161gph (@ 6#/gal x 161 = 997#). 2500rpm/46# MP. Hope this helps! GKKnupper
there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this plane !!!!!!!!! it takes off a little higher speed at it should do ,,,,, but this is it. no stupid fuel dumping, no offloading the plane, no goofing around with the engine or propeller settings and so on!! do NOT blame it on Mr. Scrub IF you do NOT know what you do or stupidly RECOMMEND !! Sincerely G. Kirschstein OMG no knowledge of anything, but a lot of it and than blaming the designer !!
ViperPilot2
Between AF's and the Alphasim Liberators, which one do you like more? They're both good, and pretty much cover the Lib's various incarnations, but I have an affinity for AF's PB4Y... maybe it's the Elco nose turret... 😋 "I created the Little Black Book to keep myself from getting killed..." -- Captain Elrey Borge Jeppesen AMD 1.9GB/8GB RAM/AMD VISION 1GB GPU/500 GB HDD/WIN 7 PRO 64/FS9 CFS CFS2
