flightquarters
Hey Guy's! Does anyone know how to plan a Arctic Flight to the Northpole? Found one on you tube but it didn't post the route itself...Started in germany EDDL and ended at EDDL. Is there anywhere online i can find a route, tried looking up a route and found nothing. jeroen79
Just turn north. Or enter 900000N0000000E in your GPS. From where do you want to fly? An efficient route would need to take into account the weather. Look up winds at your cruise level and plot a route that gives you the best winds at each phase of the flight. Elvensmith
Doesn't FSX go a bit weird near the Poles? I did a flight from Svalbard a few weeks ago and the GPS window showed my track at a 45 degree angle! Wonder if FS2020 has got this right? Vern. andyjohnston
Things get a little odd, but not as bad as they were in the old versions. If you want to fly there (I've done it tons of times) go into the gps and enter the waypoint NPOLE. You can fly to it and land right on the ice. Just remember it's a little tougher to come to a stop. Spent way too much time using these sims... FS 5.1, FS-98, FS-2000, FS-2002, FS-2004, FSX, Flight, FSW, P3Dv3, P3Dv4, MSFS
