CRJ_simpilot
Just posting to say that the user 123air sent me a PM on OOMs related to the link in my signature and I gave him information on how the Sim will load all the scenery no matter if you fly there or not and thus in this condition you can quickly run out RAM. To remedy this you should use the Scenery Config Editor and manage your scenery. Specifically uncheck the big stuff first that you won't be using on your flight. This may help fix an out of memory condition. I also noted that the Sim will only use up to and no more than 3.5 GB of RAM no matter how much RAM you have installed. OOM errors? Read this. grau
My guess is that it maybe a corrupt texture issue. FS2004 is well known, and documented, for this anomoly. CRJ_simpilot isnt there a program that checks for this and roots it out? My memory is escaping me. I remember having a similar issue near "Columbia, SC." and for the life of me cannot remember what was suggested. Whatever it was fixed it. Still drawing a blank. Opa would know. God Bless his soul. There is a way and I will eventually remember it. Of course assuming its a corrupt texture. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Regardless, I would recommend the original poster to search this issue outside of any forum and hopefully you'll come across what I'm referencing. 123air
Thanks for the response. It seems the issue was not the airport scenery addon, not the Edmonton City add on, but a very old landclass file I decided to add LAST YEAR and forgot about. After a bit of testing, all was fixed.
