Intuitive tool to assist replacing old AI aircraft with newer versions

Hello,

I have finally found enough modern AI liveries that I am ready to replace old liveries with new versions. Many new models though.

I've added all the new models and paints to the aircraft folder.

Looking for suggestions to help me edit flightplan file to simply plug in new versions into existing plans. Does this make sense?

I know AITM used to do that for me in FS2002, is there a recommended flavor of AITM for FS9 that can do the same?

Although I am not too active anymore in the later years of development I only used Ai Flight Planner to do everything. Once you really gain an understanding of this tool you will wonder how you did without it.
