Thread: Where to begin learning about conceptual aircraft design?

Default Where to begin learning about conceptual aircraft design?

I've just finished the first year of my Aerospace Engineering degree and although we briefly touched on technical drawing and CAD work

we have not really discussed the design process or tried our hand at designing any components of an aircraft.

This is understandable given the complexity of the relevant theories we most likely haven't learnt yet. However, the design process is something I am very interested in and therefore I would like to find out more about it

so I can learn to at least draw existing aircraft and component schematics correctly for myself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Best regards
