ColR1948
I've worked the night shift many times at the airport, at night the air is different and on the apron especially in the warmer months it had a nice atmosphere somehow. We got a lot more cargo planes in at night, as most of you know they tend to operate a night, then early morning we got the American aircraft arriving. We got the mail and newspaper aircraft in too, all hand loaded, they were often passenger aircraft converted for the night flights then converted back the next day for passenger types. Col.
