    Default MSFS2020 Install help

    I am trying to reinstall MSFS after deleting it off my D:
    This is the screen i am stuck on, please help

    Hi it looks as though you are a bit ahead of your self you might want to launch the digital ownership first and the the screen where you are now cant tell from screen shot try it hope it helps

    Hi Andrew, no he’s done that bit correctly. You don’t have to launch digital ownership, you just have to install it.
    You first download the (standard) sim, followed by Digital Ownership. Then you launch the sim.
    (In that order)
    After the usual Asobo logos etc, it asks where you want to install the main part... which looking at the screenshot, that bit was ok.
    It is now supposed to download... but...

    Johny, it did ask you for the installation location... yes?

    Sorry I don’t know the solution (yet)

    One suggestion is to simply do a system restore. I don’t know if that would work for you now though.

    yes it asked for the location to install and then I got stuck on this screen
    This is the same screen i got when it was installed before and i was just trying to update it
    I am running windows 10 home
    Core i7 10700K OC to 5.1 all cores/ MSI Z490 edge mobo/ Trident RAM DDR4 32GB(2X16GB) 3200mhz/ ASUS RTX 3080/ Win10 home/ Asus 32 inch monitor 1440p/ CH Flightstick and Pedals

    I had a similar problem with the initial install. The only thing that worked for me was the hotfix. I think that changed the file so my system could/would recognize it so I could start the download. There is a hotfix coming out perhaps today

    i seem to be getting stuck on installation all the time with this file
    Asorbo-aircraft-c172sp-as1000-livery-aviators

    i tried exiting MSFS, deleteing the folder and try installing again but to no avail
