VR flying in Airbus 320

I'm well aware of the push/pull control method for using the speed/altimeter/heading knobs in the Airbus 320 neo that is included in fs2020, but when I try to do this in VR, I'm told in the info box to as you hover the mouse arrow over the knob, to 'mid click' or mouse right click (which of course just zooms in). Is it possible to remap these maybe? The 'mid click' has a box around it, so I assume that's mapped to my joystick, a MS force feedback 2, still excellent after all these years! But I cant guess what it refers to.

As I couldn't operate the autopilot, I was forced to make a manual flight (following the route loaded into the FMC) and listening to ATC. VERY exciting landing at Heathrow in VR manually, but I'd like to do it using the autopilot as before.
