Be sure to choose an aircraft with good anti ice. I chose the King Air. Be prepared for a long float on landing, with or without the latest flaps bug. I love flying in Alaska, having lived there and also, well, having an ex there too. Summer is a lot more fun though. This thread says that the last update introduces a bug that gives flaps double the lift that they should have. I remember being in a twin and during landing seemed to have trouble forcing the aircraft down onto the runway so now I realise maybe he had too much flap extended.
