jorgen.s.andersen
"I use word to open and save my CFG files" - I do really hope you use Notepad or another text editor, not a word processor. Jorgen
howlak
Your title is confusing the audience. You can install Scenery config editor anywhere. Then open and select the FSX-SE scenery path located in program data.

TextRich
Victor, the screen shot are what I use with FSX:SE. I think by default Steam is installed in C:/Program Files x86/Steam/steamapps/common/FSX unless you explicitly changed it to outside of a Program Files folder like I did. The Scenery.CFG path is not likely to be any different by default regardless where your main Steam folder is. Finally, be sure to open and run it as Admin (or right-click on it, select Properties, and find and check the box to run it as Admin). Otherwise it may not save your changes.
