Mike Stone Britannia

Hi,

Got the textures for Mike Stone's Bristol Britannia (SBRITANNIA.ZIP) supposedly available at http://www.pmstone.com. These sites do not work anymore and I need the model.

Any idea where I can get it. Need Britannia 253 passenger version model, got Cargo only.

Mike Stone is a legend, many thought his planes were simple,

but they fly beautiful and look really good. After you get all his planes check out the

many repaints available for any of his great creations.

Oh, great.

There goes (at least) one evening.

I had no idea Mr Stone created such a large and eclectic set of planes.

Now I have to go through them, look for upgrades, skins and panels ...

Mike Stone and his aircraft were wonderful free additions to our FS world. It is unconscionable to see all of the criticism he got from some corners of the hobby.

Well, I did have fun with some of the Mike Stone models last night.

Ordinarily I don't have much use for non-VC planes but they're fine for IFR trips in the big iron. I spent a little time adjusting Stone's panels to 16:9. Here's a screenie of what I did with his CL-44 panel. I shrunk the width of the main panel so that it is the proper aspect ratio, and that left enough room on the sides to permanently display the radio stack and throttle quadrant, with enough space left over for a couple of my favorite add-on gauges, the Ground Handling and Descentometer. It's a nice little office now and right at home in my Cal Classics install.
