leuen
Has anyone tried to use the AI version of Erwin Welker's Queen Mary? Even it it seems to be forseen using the AI ship with FS2004 as well, it doesn't work. Probably it might be due to the missing aircraft.cfg. I would be grateful for any advice. Flattermann
Hi Bernard, I have no FS9 but I downloaded the Queen Mary and found inside the main folder a folder called 'ai_RMS Queen Mary'. This folder contains a sim.cfg. I tried to install the ship as AI-boat for my FSX. It works normally. Good luck for you. Edited November 23, 2020 by Flattermann happy landings! leuen
Thanks Christian. I tried to rename sim.cfg to aircraft.cfg, as it should be named for FS9. But it didn't work neither. I presume, that this model isn't suitable for FS9 anyway. Bernard BTW, nice to hear from you. I already had seen your name and red your comments before at Flight X and Flightforum. How times goes by! Flattermann
Hi Bernard, I can remember you gave me a link for some FS9 pilotable cars or so. 'Yes, tempus fugile'. Have you tried the (for me unknown) mentioned tool AICARRIERS2.zip? If you have an other big ai-ship for FS9 you can try to change the aircraft.cfg and use it adapted for the Queenmary. Just as a test. happy landings! Christian:pilot: Intel i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHZ, 4 Kerne, 16 GB MSI RX 480; M. SATA WD 500 GB; WD RED PRO 2TB Win 10, 64 bit; FSX Gold Acc.
