My Alienware bit the dust so I’m looking at the Skytech Siege Mini with a Ryzen 7 2700X 8-core 3.7 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB, 1 TB SSD, 16GB DDR4.... Available on Amazon for $1250 with excellent reviews. Any advice on how well this will run FSX, or advice on decent mid-range systems (under $1500), would be appreciated. llivaudais Posted March 25, 2020 Share Posted March 25, 2020 opinion only: Overkill for just FSX but sounds like ideal for Microsoft's newer version coming 'soon'; if you're thinking about that one. FSX is still all about cpu speed. If you play muliple games, you might consider several smaller drives rather than all the eggs in 1 basket. I'd hate to think about cloning a 1Tb Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: self-built i7-4790 at 4 GHz; GA-Z97X mobo; GTX 970; 16GB gskill; quiet, fast and cool running.
