aviator66 Posted October 16, 2019 Share Posted October 16, 2019 I have looked on many forums and found this. I have looked in the FSX.cfg and can not fine MDL (what is this?) I have install (upgrade)SODE and now I have no aircraft, so some how FSX cfg is messed up. I have installed iBlue Yonder Herons Nest and Nantucket it was working fine then I turn FSX on went to Nantucket and the ground was all black. Had aircraft. Went to iBlue Yander Forum and it said SODE could be out of date. :confused: After looking at this problem for hours, I finally discover what it was: the MDL that was showing with black textures was declared twice in the FSX.cfg (two different SimObjectPaths pointing to the same models) and SODE was apparently looking for the wrong one, probably because it was first in the SimObjectPaths definitions. aviator66 Posted October 16, 2019 Author Share Posted October 16, 2019 I took the FSX.cfg file save it and went a started FSX, It made a new FSX.cfg file and I am HAPPY HAPPY now.
