Help? Only one brake?

I have not been able to flightsim for well over a year, and just before i packed up i had a problem with my brakes, only one will work, both on the keyboard or pedals.

I have since re-instaled FSX and still have the same problem, i have tried all that i can think of, (and that's not much) so i would be very grateful for any ideas or suggestions. In advance, many thanks to you all.

Have you tried resetting the pedals to the default in Settings-Controls- Calibration and Settings-Controls-Buttons/Keys.

Have you clicked the "reverse" tap in the axis settings for the brakes?

If you have full, smooth range in the CH manager, try raising the Brake senstivity settings for the CH Pedals in the FSX controls menu (you will have to select the advanced setting button to do so.) I've found that if I lower that too much, I will get the symptoms you describe.

Check to see if the left pedal is assigned to throttle.

If none of these proceedures work then you may have a broken wire inside (they often get trapped on the springs). You would then need to open it up to check. Only way.

First test with a different aircraft. (default aircraft.)

Then, Try if the brakes (keys) work separately when the pedals are unplugged.

If not, reassign those keys in menu: "settings-keyboard controls".
