jflyerguy
Hi all: I've got a question. Last year I flew out to Nashville on Southwest. Not sure if it was a 737 MAX 8 or not. At that time, I didn't think too much about it except if I had flown on one, I thought it was pretty cool. I've been wondering more recently though, is the LEAP Engine as pictured below exclusive to MAX 8's or are they being added onto other 737 models as well? The plane I flew on last year had this engine as I remember the "spike" look, if you will. They are used on all MAX models only. They cannot be retrofitted to NGs. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots.
