SSGT JIM WILLIG USMC
I have 2 computers. one running Miocrosoft XP, and one running Windows 7 Professional. I have 2 Joysticks, one is a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback and the other is a SIATEK X52. I would like to run my combat flight simulators on either computer but am unsure of the compatibility issues. I have many sim programs on older discs. (Microsoft & Janes etc;) I would like to know the compatibility issues involved and would like to use the Microsoft CFS X in the future. I have held a Commercial Pilot License for over 40 years and find flying a real airplane much easier than struggling through a computer sim. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Skywatcher12
Compatibility issues will come down to each individual game on each individual operating system. There is no general answer to your question. Pick a game, try to install and run it and if it doesn't work you will have to google to find the problem you are having and fixes.
