This problem with theottle not holding speed is also when on auto-pilot using fsNav. I took all screws off of the base yet it will not come off. I don't even see any kond of seem. It's not more than 2 years old and I don't wanna trash it. Any help? Windows XP PPro and Windows Vista Systems. FS2004 and FSX
il88pp
the autopilot only manages altitude and heading. To manage speed you need a autothrottle. Most Props don't have that. So if you set the autopilot to climb faster, you need to add thrust manually. And at altitude you need to reduce the mixture to keep thrust levels up. Mixture is the red knob next to the throttle handle, on the panel or in the vc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
