Switch from FSX to X Plane need help

I am new to X Plane. I really need some help.

1) FSX to mute the sound is Q, what about X plane ?

2) I am on window mod. How to move the X Plane IVAP window to my another monitor ?

hi, to mute x plane you have to go into the settings/ sound and there you have a master control for all volume or various things that make sound , there is no master button like fsx but you can create a master button if you want using the keyboard setting page

similarly to have a second monitor working you go to graphics, your main screen will aleard either be in windowed mode or full screen, to the left there is a box for a second monitor which will say unused you change this to an instructor panel or full screen or what you want. if like me you have 2 screens one showing the view aheead and one showing the view to the left you simply scroll down the settings of the left monitor to set the angle with my screens the setting is -77 degrees so i have a full left view and a view ahead. you do lose a few fps using 2 screens but the simulation is much more enhanced this way
