Quelle est le difference?

Recommended Posts

Terminal VORs have a smaller service volume than other VORs. Service volume, in this case, refers to the area in which an aircraft can receive and process the VOR's signals with a certain level of confidence.

AIM 1-1-8 describes different classes of VORs in more detail.

Those numbers don't correspond to what we see in FS/P3D. Do you know how far a terminal VOR extends in the sim?

From the ADE manual- "Terminal – This type has an altitude between 1,000ft and 12,000ft and a range of 25nm"
