JSMR
Very nice scenery but I can’t use it. Different parts if the runway and taxi have something issues with the aircraft sinking into the ground. Then rebounding up into the sky. I’ve deleted scenery and landclass in the area, added the recommend flatten, contacted the developer and given some ideas, all to no avail. Has anybody also experienced something similar? https://fshub.io/airline/RUA/overview
jgf
A strong "rebound" is usually a contact point issue (or you've flown into the ground with crash detection turned off). My first thought is the airport was designed for a different mesh, but if you've used a flatten that should take care of it. Does this happen with any aircraft? JSMR
Yeah it happens with any aircraft. Default , payware. But only in certain areas. Like the exits at end of runway. It usually sinks first into the runway. Maybe i have a mesh installed somewhere that is messing with it? https://fshub.io/airline/RUA/overview
jgf
FS9 doesn't "see" the runway, that's just nice graphics for us poor humans to look at, so to the sim an aircraft is taxiing on the ground (mesh) beneath the airport. If the ground drops away so does the airplane, but I would think a flatten covering the entire airport would take care of that (but I'm no scenery/airport designer, lol). JSMR
Yeah there was a flatten for it, but it never did anything for some reason. https://fshub.io/airline/RUA/overview
