okdaley
The FPS Issue for the first lap has been isolated. By removing, "LimeRock_PittCars.bgl", "LimeRock_Porsches.bgl", and "LimeRock_Vintage.bgl" from your LimeRock4FSXScenery folder, your graphics system will not have to digest them during the first lap. Run on a 2.6 Gig hz / I780 Graphics, , 4 Gig Mem, the first lap is impeded by an FPS drop in specific locations around the track. By removing the files noted above, there was no FPS drop observed in the first lap. But again, if you want some cool car scenery in the Lime Rock 4 FSX install, just be prepared for a small FPS drop intermittently in the first lap. okdaley
If you had been looking at the Live Stream Thread lately, at Le Mans 4 FSX, the Super 7's handling has been under test. https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?309583-Live-Stream Not evident when at Lime Rock 4 FSX, which is a much smaller track, over steer could occur at high speeds, such as over 130 MPH - The ASS 7's top out at about 205 mph. Observed going down 'the Circuit de La Sarth in Le Mans 4 FSX', when hitting at about 180mph+ between the two chicanes on the Mulsanne Straight, it appeared as if a strong crosswind could hit the car. ( also was not sure yet then if the Freedom Cordless 2.4 Joystick also went out of calibration at that point - but this was dismissed - ) Functional Correction: To prevent this sudden oversteering and crosswind affect, comment out the "Gauge 15" line in your ASS 7 Cars Panel.cfg as listed below: [Window01] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=600,650 window_size_ratio=1.00 position=1 visible=1 ident=22225 window_size= 0.600, 0.650 window_pos= 0.340, 0.685 child_3d=0 render_3d_window=0 gauge01=Custom!Digital_Tach2, 110,125,50,40 gauge02=Custom!Speed, 195,125, 50, 40 gauge03=Custom!Turbo, 150,118, 50, 20 gauge04=Custom!WarPowers, 157,138, 10, 10 gauge05=Custom!Fuel_Percent, 350, 65, 60, 12 Gauge06=Custom!EngineMaster, 350, 150, 60, 12 gauge07=Custom!PKB_label, 385,150, 38, 12 gauge08=Custom!ParkingBrake, 390,170, 12, 12 gauge09=Custom!HDL_label, 350,95, 38, 12 gauge10=Custom!LandingLightsSwitch, 355,115,15,15 gauge11=Custom!Pan_label, 387,95, 38, 12 gauge12=Custom!PanelLightsSwitch, 387,115,15,15 //gauge15=Custom!Eng_Throttle, 0,0,0,0 gauge16=Custom!Eng_Smoke, 0,0,0,0 gauge18=Custom!BrakeSound, 0, 0, 0, 1 gauge19=dsd_fsx_xml_sound!Sound, 2,2,2,2, /Custom/dsd_fsx_xml_sound.ini gauge21=Custom!BrakeLight, 0, 0, 0, 1 Please note: for all ASS Cars upto Version 1.3 -" Custom!Engine_Throttle" should not be used, and should be commented out or removed like in the above -
