johnan Posted December 4, 2017 Share Posted December 4, 2017 I normally do a full reinstall when an update comes out, ie I download the complete installer, uninstall my original copy and reinstall the whole new version. This time I tried just uninstalling the "client" and "content" sub packages, and reinstalling their updates only. This resulted in strange anomalies for me, such as ILS no longer being available in certain airfields, etc. So I did a full reinstall as I normally do, and since then I can not fault this version P3Dv41. So far it has been flawless. I expect the anomalies were due to me rather than the program updates, but I do think a full reinstall is the safest way to update.
