stinger2k2 Posted December 1, 2017 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Yes it is. The graphics card is probably overkill for FSX. If you are able change the configuration I'd choose a CPU which can overclock higher than 4ghz and lower the spec on the graphics card. I run an i5 at 3.8ghz, when i recently changed my graphics card from a gtx660ti to a gtx1070 I saw no appreciable difference. That said, if you were thinking of changing to Prepar3d anytime soon I'd stick with what you are suggesting.
