Peete
A newbie in his late eighties and using my p.c mainly for FSX operation and general purposes, I would like to upgrade my 24" monitor to 32". My current system comprises ;- Windows 10, NVidia GeForce gtx 285, Intel Core i7 920 overclocked to 3.80 Ghz, Gigabyte GA-Ex 58 motherboard, Seagate 7200 1TB D Drive, 128mb SSD. 6GB Ram (3 X 2). I understand that some of these items will need upgrading to support the increased monitor size but beyond that I hav'nt got a clue, so I would be most grateful for any advice on this question. jgf
Size of the monitor will make no difference to your vid card, only the resolution you run; 1920x1080 requires the same processing power regardless of display size. Since it's best to run at the native resolution of the monitor, if that 32" unit is the same resolution as your 24" you would have no problems.
